Oyun endüstrisinin en prestijli etkinliklerinden biri olan The Game Awards için 2025 yılı adayları duyuruldu. Bu yıl listelerde öne çıkan Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, tam on iki adaylıkla The Game Awards tarihinin en çok aday gösterilen oyunu oldu. Rekabetin yoğun olduğu kategorilerde PlayStation’ın öne çıkan yapımları Death Stranding 2: On the Beach ve Ghost of Yotei ise sekiz adaylık elde ederek güçlü bir konum yakaladı. Ghost of Yotei yüksek adaylık sayısına rağmen Yılın Oyunu kategorisine giremeyerek dikkat çekti.
